Our Wider Offer
We have an excellent extra-curricular provision. There is a wide range of clubs each term, including rugby with a coach from the Cornish Pirates, Football with a coach from Plymouth Argyle, Golf with a Cornwall golf pro, to name but a few.
See our current club list here. These change term to term, season to season.
We arrange a number of school trips during the school year. Destinations have included The Eden Project, Plymouth Aquarium, Woodland Valley, Cardinham Woods, Pendennis Castle, Restormel Castle, The local Police and Fire Stations, local Church visits, the Camel Trail, various local beach trips and the St Eval Community Meadow.
Throught the year we offer residential trips to Year 2, 4 and 6. Year 2 have an overnight stay on site, Year 4 go to a local adventure centre to camp, Y6 go out of county.
At Trevisker, we have peripatetic music lessons currently in Piano / Keyboard, Drums and Guitar.
We also have a school choir open to all, who sing at local community events.
Trevisker provides numerous opportunities throughout the school year to support our children to develop knowledge, behaviour and skills that help them to demonstrate cultural awareness, which in turn, will support them to be successful in society, their future careers and the world of work.
We are proud to offer our own therapy dog at Trevisker. They are available to children and staff and provide a moment of comfort and calm when required.
We believe that our wider offer supports the aspirations of young people and throughout the year, we run careers days for children, working closely with local businesses, tradespeople, retired practitioners and St Columb Rotary club volunteers. Children are able to have insight into career journeys and the tools they need to be successful.
